What Is Adobe Illustrator?
Adobe Illustrator is vector graphics software, first released in 1987. Unlike Photoshop, it describes an image not with pixels but with mathematical curves. That's why a logo drawn in Illustrator looks just as sharp on a business card as on the front of a building.
The Pen tool and Bézier curves give exact control over every bend, and the Shape Builder turns simple forms into complex marks. Global colors change a color in one place, and artboards keep the horizontal, vertical and icon versions of a logo together in one file.
Illustrator's output fits every medium: SVG for the web, print-ready PDF with CMYK colors for the printer and EPS for your partners. The “master files” of a brand identity are very often Illustrator files.
Where We Use Illustrator
In brand identity projects, there's hardly a day Illustrator stays closed. We use it most for:
Logo Design
We draw the ideas that come out of sketching in Illustrator and adjust letter spacing and curves one by one. We prepare the horizontal, vertical, mark-only and single-color versions of the logo together.
Icons and Graphic Elements
We design the icons, patterns and illustrations used on your site and in your presentations in line with your brand's style.
Printed Materials
We deliver business cards, letterheads, brochures and packaging print-ready, with the color and bleed settings the printer will ask for.
SVG for the Web
We export the logo and icons as SVG so they stay light and sharp on the site, and animate them with GSAP when needed.
Why Illustrator?
Sharp at Any Size
Vector drawings don't break up as they grow. Your logo looks just as crisp on a phone screen as on a trade show stand.
Precise Control
Curves, corners and letter spacing are adjusted point by point. The trust a logo inspires comes from these small details.
Output for Every Use
SVG for the web, PDF for the printer and EPS for partners all come from the same file. Your identity stays the same everywhere.
How We Work on Your Project
Guided by the brand strategy, we first work through sketches, then draw the strongest ideas in Illustrator. We refine the direction you choose by testing it at different sizes and on real-life examples.
We deliver the approved logo with all its versions, color codes and usage rules. With the brand guidelines, everyone who works with your brand can use the logo correctly.
