What Is Google Search Console?
Google Search Console is a free tool Google offers to site owners; it used to be called Google Webmaster Tools. It shows your site through Google's eyes: which pages are indexed, which have been left out and why, which searches you appear in and how many people click through to your site.
The Performance report shows queries, clicks, impressions, click-through rate and average position for up to the last 16 months. URL Inspection examines one page's index status in detail, the Page indexing report lists issues by type, and the Sitemaps section helps new pages get discovered sooner.
The Core Web Vitals report shows how quickly and steadily pages load for real visitors. The Manual actions and Security issues sections give early warning if something serious goes wrong with the site.
Where We Use Search Console
In our SEO work and in following every site we launch, Search Console is one of the first screens we open. We use it especially for:
Setup and Sitemap
When launching a site we verify the domain, submit the sitemap and make sure every language version is recognized correctly.
Index Monitoring
We track whether important pages are indexed and fix the reason when one is left out: a wrong redirect, a missing link or duplicate content.
Query Analysis and Content
We build the content map from the searches your site appears in, and improve titles and descriptions of pages with many impressions but few clicks.
Monitoring After a Migration
When moving to a new site, we watch old-address redirects and search visibility closely, catching losses early.
Why Search Console?
Information Straight from Google
It shows Google's own data about search visibility, not an estimate.
Free and Essential
It's a basic tool every site should have; it's both the measure and the compass of SEO work.
Early Warning for Problems
Indexing errors, security issues and manual actions don't go unnoticed for months; Search Console reports them in time.
How We Work on Your Project
For new sites we set up Search Console before launch; for existing sites we first review recent performance and index status. We list the technical issues we find by priority and fix them.
Then we build the content plan from query data and track how new and updated pages develop in search. SEO is long-term work, and Search Console lets us see the effect of every step.
