Snapchat Ads

Snapchat Ads is Snap Inc.'s platform for ads inside Snapchat: among Stories, in Spotlight, in Chat and in the camera itself. We use it to reach younger audiences with full-screen vertical ads, especially in campaigns for the UAE and the Gulf.

What Is Snapchat Ads?

Snapchat Ads is the advertising platform of Snap Inc., the company behind Snapchat, the camera and messaging app launched in 2011. Ads are created and managed in Snapchat Ads Manager and appear where people already spend time in the app: among Stories, between short videos in Spotlight and, as Sponsored Snaps, in the Chat tab. Snapchat is especially popular in the Gulf countries, which makes it an important channel for campaigns in the UAE.

Almost every format fills the phone screen in a vertical 9:16 frame: single image or video ads, Story ads that people tap through, Collection ads that show several products under one visual, and Commercials whose first seconds can't be skipped. AR Lenses and Filters let people try a brand experience through their own camera. The Snap Pixel on your site and the Conversions API on your server report actions such as purchases and sign-ups.

Ads Manager is free to use; you pay for the ads within a budget you set. Audiences can be built by location, age and interests, from visitors to your site or as lookalikes of your customers. For AR Lenses, Snap provides Lens Studio, its own tool for building camera experiences. When the Pixel and the Conversions API run together with matching event IDs, Snap counts each conversion only once.

Where We Use Snapchat Ads

We suggest Snapchat when your audience is young or based in the Gulf, and we design for the format rather than resizing other ads. We use it most for:

  • UAE and Gulf Campaigns

For brands targeting the UAE and neighboring countries, Snapchat often sits in the media plan alongside Meta Ads and TikTok Ads. We prepare Arabic and English versions and target by location, age and interests.

  • Full-Screen Video Ads

We plan and edit short vertical videos for a phone held upright: the message in the first seconds, text that's easy to read and sound that adds to the story without carrying it alone.

  • Pixel and Conversions API Setup

We install the Snap Pixel through Google Tag Manager, add the Conversions API where your site allows it and match the two, so results stay reliable even when browsers limit cookies.

  • AR Lenses for Launches

For a launch or a seasonal campaign we may suggest a sponsored AR Lens that lets people try a product or a branded effect with their camera. It's an option we weigh against your budget and goals.

Why Snapchat Ads?

  • An Audience Worth Reaching

Snapchat is where many young people talk to their friends every day. Ads there reach people you may not fully reach through other social networks.

  • The Whole Screen

A vertical ad fills the entire phone screen with nothing competing beside it, so a clear opening can make a strong first impression.

  • Clear Measurement

With the Snap Pixel and the Conversions API working together, we can see which ads lead to sign-ups and sales, and move the budget towards what works.

How We Work on Your Project

We start with your audience and goals: if your customers are young or in the Gulf, we plan Snapchat alongside your other channels and agree on a budget with you. Then we design vertical videos and images, write Arabic and English texts and build campaigns in Ads Manager with clear audiences and conversion goals.

Before launch we test the Snap Pixel and Conversions API events, check that they wait for cookie consent and preview every ad on a real phone. Once ads are running, we refresh the creative regularly, since a vertical ad loses impact when people see it too often, and report results in plain language.

Frequently Asked Questions

Help Center
Is Snapchat only for teenagers?

No. Snapchat is especially popular with Gen Z and young adults, but it reaches older age groups too. In Ads Manager we choose the age range that suits your product.

Do I need new videos for Snapchat?

Usually, yes. Ads made for a wide screen or a feed look weak in full screen. We can adapt your existing material, but videos planned vertically from the start tend to work better.

Can Snapchat ads be measured like Google or Meta ads?

Yes. With the Snap Pixel and the Conversions API we track actions such as purchases, sign-ups and form submissions, and we compare the results with your other channels in Google Analytics 4.

Is an AR Lens worth it for my brand?

It depends on the campaign. A Lens can suit a launch, an event or a product people want to try on, but it takes more design work than a video ad. We'll tell you plainly whether it fits your goals and budget.
